“The Mercedes Benz Experience” 
We are very excited to have the city of Charlotte a part of our multi-city "Mercedes Benz experience" event .

On Thursday, December 17th, 2015 at the Mandrake tapas and wine restaurant

located at 333 W. Trade street Charlotte, NC 28202 . The event will be held from 6 PM to 12:30 AM.
  
The event will feature Pro Golfer Mercedes-Benz ambassador, Chris Arceneaux, and founder of the Darby foundation a (501c3) located in New York. We are introducing the foundation to the city of Charlotte at this event and our efforts are focused on education, inspiring young professionals and empowering entrepreneurs through sports fashion and entertainment.

We will also be giving attendees a chance to purchase a ticket to win a 2015 Mercedes Benz Gla 250 4matic for a small donation of $100.

To make this event an even bigger success​, ​w​e will be giving away a scholarship up to $1000 to a high school and or college student in the Charlotte area to assist with books/tuition towards their education.

It's our way of giving back to the community in helping the youth achieve their goals and dreams.

  Dr. Charles L. Sifford  Naming Ceremony and Ribbon Cutting Urban League of Central Carolinas invites you to the National Dr. Charles L. Sifford  Naming Ceremony and Ribbon Cutting   September 10, 2015 from 6:30-9 pm  at   Skyline Terrence, 1601 West Trade Street, Charlotte North Carolina 28216 After a decade of attempting to break through racial barriers, Sifford, a native Charlottean, was the first African American to join the PGA Tour in 1961. During his career he had 22 professional wins.  In 2004, Sifford became the first African American inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame. He was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Obama in 2014. Tiger Woods referred to Sifford as "the Grandpa I never had," and without Sifford, "I probably wouldn't be here. My dad would have never have picked up the game. Who knows if the clause would still exist or not? But he broke it down". To become a sponsor for this event or the tournament, visi
