On Thursday, December 17th, 2015 at the Mandrake tapas and wine restaurant located at 333 W. Trade street Charlotte, NC 28202 . The event will be held from 6 PM to 12:30 AM.    The event will feature Pro Golfer Mercedes-Benz ambassador, Chris Arceneaux, and founder of the Darby foundation a (501c3) located in New York. We are introducing the foundation to the city of Charlotte at this event and our efforts are focused on education, inspiring young professionals and empowering entrepreneurs through sports fashion and entertainment. Sifford  Naming Ceremony and Ribbon Cutting   September 10, 2015 from 6:30-9 pm  at   Skyline Terrence, 1601 West Trade Street, Charlotte North Carolina 28216 After a decade of attempting to break through racial barriers, Sifford, a native Charlottean, was the first African American to join the PGA Tour in 1961. During his career he had 22 professional wins.  In 2004, Sifford became the first African American inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame. He was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Obama in 2014. Tiger Woods referred to Sifford as "the Grandpa I never had," and without Sifford, "I probably wouldn't be here.
