Asian Market Tour Great authentic meals start with great authentic ingredients. The Asian Market tour will visit several local Asian markets where you will experience ingredients that are not found in any other store. From fresh fish to lotus root, pork buns to spring roll wrappers. These are true ingredients that will instantly transport you to another culinary world. This tour starts at 10am and visits several markets and wraps up at a traditional Asian restaurant where you can sample dishes made with ingredients found at the market. African-Americans (up to 25 years old) who wish to pursue education and training that will allow them to master skills and launch successful careers and entrepreneurial endeavors are encouraged to apply. Applicants will be required to complete the scholarship application form, write a personal statement and submit a letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, administrator or member of the community.
