Mega Club “LABEL” to Open at NC Music Factory

Charlotte, NC, April 10, 2012 – A 16,000 Square foot big budget entertainment venue called LABEL will open this Summer at the NC Music Factory. The long desired “Mega Club” with a focus on dancing, national touring artists, and celebrities along with exquisite service will soon arrive in Charlotte. Located at the NC Music Factory, LABEL will add another incredible dimension and gravitational pull to Charlotte’s premier arts and entertainment stroll district. Noah Lazes, president of ARK Group and the NC Music Factory stated “LABEL will be a marquee venue never experienced before in Charlotte with lights, sound, and video rivaling the best operations in major A markets. We have always wanted to see the Mega Club at the NC Music Factory and are extremely excited it is finally arriving. Simply put Charlotte has never seen a venue of this size, budget, and scope. LABEL is sure to soon be on the elite list with other major Mega Clubs throughout the world.”
The 16,000 square foot multimillion dollar space is designed by world renowned club designer, Francois Frossard, from Miami, FL, along with one of the region’s most esteemed and well- respected architectural firms, Mind’s Eye Architecture of Charlotte, NC, led by Mark Mucci. Frossard has designed many award winning nightlife venues including Miami staples SET, LIV, ARKADIA and MANSION as well as ORO in Punta Cana, PRIVE in Las Vegas, and more. The over the top layout and interior decor will be complemented by state of the art sound, lighting, and video designed by award winning Charlotte locals Jack Kelly and Paul Emrick of Eye Dialogue. National acclimations are sure to follow when this amazing array of light and sound coupled with the city’s first major video wall ignite LABEL’s massive performance stage and dance floor. Opposite the performance stage will be one of the largest and most technologically advanced DJ booths in the world. The DJ booth will also include two exclusive VIP tables. The main dance floor will house two huge exquisite bars and a special raised VIP bar will overlook the entire room.
LABEL will also include a separate New York style lounge featuring an eclectic vibe with lavish furnishings, a fourth bar, and its own DJ booth. The lounge will provide a private and intimate setting certain to dazzle even the pickiest trendsetters. To top off the biggest venue in Charlotte, LABEL will of course have the areas largest outdoor courtyard. The outdoor experience will be complete with bars, DJ booth, and its own Greek amphitheater, orientated to take advantage of the beautiful skyline views.
The service at LABEL will be unparalleled with a true focus on the customer. VIP’s will be treated to their own separate entrance and coat check. Nick Spain, will serve as LABEL’s Managing Partner & Operations Director. Spain, has been known for his many years of local DJ work as well as his ownership of many successful Charlotte venues. Spain and LABEL’s primary owners, Lisa Bennett and Robert Ortiz, all share the vision to bring big city entertainment to a town that has long desired it. Bennett, the former Chief Operating Officer of a $60+ million dollar company, will bring a competitive corporate edge to the team alongside co-investor, Robert Ortiz, a professional dancer committed to providing impeccable entertainment.
Bennett and Ortiz are equally dedicated to giving back and serving the community. Bennett, Ortiz and philanthropist Xavier Grier of the non-profit organization, Amped 4-A-Cure, Inc., will make LABEL the home and title sponsor of the AMPLIFIED concert series.
