Hey everyone, I’m Dany Eason is the owner of DEPR Communications, Community, & YounGents Mentoring program. I have been working very hard to dedicate my time to the things that matter to me. One of those things is you. I would like to get more involved with more community events and affairs. Is time to highlight those individuals, affair, and events that matter to the hearts, minds, of our community. The one thing that I hear all the time is that there aren’t enough events for a cause, and where are these events at? And how do I get involved? While, since I have a large email list, (17,000) I want to be able to give the people what they want. I been called the unofficially mayor by many and I laugh, but its true I do know a lot of people in Charlotte. Wednesday, August 4, 2010 · Labels: Activist, Ambassadors, Event Recap, Spotlight On July 15, 2010 Winston Salem, North Carolina Ambassador and Miss North Carolina International, Kristie Tobias co-hosted a Say Red Cocktails and Conversations Send Off Party as she prepared to leave for the Miss International Pageant. Kristie went on to capture the title of fourth runner up, which is an amazing feat! Say Red offered food, fun, dancing, music, and special entertainment by professional artist Andrea Thorne. Guests of the event were also inspired by speaker Thomas Clodfelter, who has been HIV positive for almost 20 years. The Say Red event was incredibly successful and raised over $500 for Positive Wellness Alliance, an HIV/AIDS organization that offers services and support to people infected with and affected by HIV/AIDS through case management, outreach, and prevention.
